I see you there
You are in my world
Standing at the edge of the void
A very long time ago
We said goodbye
A few times, maybe more,
Always more, saying
"Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye."
But now you are back again.
I see you there
Standing at the crossroads
Between my reality
And imagination
Life is short and life is sweet
One day we said goodbye
Yes that is what we said,
"Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye."
But now you are back here
And I don't know why.
I see you there
And I am curious
I feel no hard heartedness, no pain
Only memory as I smile
And you do not look back
Oh I say hello to the wind
More times, saying,
"Hello. Hello. Hello."
But your presence is fleeting.
Again you are gone to the wind.
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.

Back To
Bring me back to a time where
you and I had simple lives
had simple thoughts and
simple dreams
and
simple hopes and all was as it seems
I just want to go back
to the times of plenty
where horses roamed free
and the grass wasn't pricky
it was
fresh and green and smelt so sweet
lush and long that
was a carpet for your feet
all day long
and you
didn't need socks or shoes
all you needed was a song
you could
run around
in the fields all day
and never worry about the kids
never worry if they strayed
because
its a time where all is simple
they'll always come home
I want to go back
to a time we could be on our own.

Lesbian Antics
Let me say this straight and true
There's nothing going on with me and you
When you stretch your arm to put it behind
I do get bothered, I do actually mind
You see life is life and death is death
And love is love, and all the rest
So maybe I might have maybe encouraged you
I want you to know that I never meant to
You see there's a hole in my heart
But its already filled with a certain art
With crimes of passion and fits of lust
A bit of lacey lingerie, a hint of bust
That gets my ... well, hormones in a twist
I awakened, aroused ... you get the gist
There's already someone dear, so go away
I don't need you to think of me that way
There's nothing going on with me and you
When you stretch your arm to put it behind
I do get bothered, I do actually mind
You see life is life and death is death
And love is love, and all the rest
So maybe I might have maybe encouraged you
I want you to know that I never meant to
You see there's a hole in my heart
But its already filled with a certain art
With crimes of passion and fits of lust
A bit of lacey lingerie, a hint of bust
That gets my ... well, hormones in a twist
I awakened, aroused ... you get the gist
There's already someone dear, so go away
I don't need you to think of me that way
