I am Scotland
I am the land that you were born in
I am your homeland
Your safeland
Your right land
I am the beauty that always was
That Burns sung about
That Scott romanticised about
That Muir moaned about
I am your country
Your city
Your home
The place you can dwell
And call your own
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.

13/04 Home
12/04 Reality
Lost
In a world you don't understand
It's called dreamland my friend
But it's not your dream
Anything
Is possible
That you can imagine
Except the figment of reality
She is queen and I am her courtier
We live here under
The stars
Life
Is good here except
Reality does not exist
Do not mention reality
Never mention reality
Do not know reality
Because reality will never come

11/04 Tiny
I've got tiny hands
And tiny feet
And with the right equipment
You can hear my
Tiny heartbeat
10/04 Wrote
I lost a poem today
It was written and beautiful
And it ran away
I don't remember what it was like
But I'm sure it was bold
About the human condition
Hearts that are cold
It had meaning and life
And absolute attitude
Full of lies and the
Lack of gratitude
I wrote this poem today
But it ran away
Got deleted as I strode

09/04 Heaven and Hell
When you have love
Things are heaven
When all you have is hate
Things are hell

08/04 Rich and Poor
Rich men
Do things
Do few things
To make
Poor men
Suffer slightly more
Then lie
To say
They'd make them
Suffer
Slightly less
So then the
Poor men
Vote for the
Rich man and so
No laws are broken
Apart from
The law of trust and honesty
07/04 Would have said
If I wanted you
I would have said
If I needed you
I would have said
If I desired your body
I round have said
I would have said
Would have said
Would have let you know
