Let me not be dulled
By simple antics of an incompetent liar
Let me not succumb to his whims
To his optimistic sayings
And his enthusiastic charming ways
He is a man of many words
Yet I am a woman of intelligence
I realise the truth of his might
And I pray this fair night
That I and my brethren will not be persuaded
By his unwise charisma
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.

20/04 Charisma

19/04 Night
Good night
My sweet heart
My love heart
My dear
Good night
My dear one
My precious one
My love
18/04 Snow
Tiny white spots
Flecks of gentle attitude
Coming from the heavens
Broken pieces of clouds
Splintering off and
Floating like dreams
Making silent remarks
As they hover for moments
And descend to the ground
Making rest before
They melt into the warmth
17/04 Down
Welcome to the other side
Of emotions
Put out your hand and take
Mine
Dance in your head and curl
Up in bed
Because that's where you want to be
That's where you belong
You bounce and dance and people say
Oh
You can have depression
You're so happy all the time
Time to roll your eyes
Look
At them and tell them to go

15/04 Ghost
When all the world
Seems to overwhelm you
You're a shadow
To all else
A ghost in existence
A mirage of hell
You exist yet not
Being of but not
Silent as death
And wanting to forget
Everything
