I will stay here
Until I must
Until the stars fall from heaven
And our bodies turn to dust
I will curl up
Under my many sheets
Under my blankets aplenty
And never another soul meet
For this is my home now
This is my nest
And it will be my only home
Until I do what is best
And come out
Out to see the world
But then if I did that
My white flag I would unfurl
To surrender to the air
To give in to life
Hold onto my heart
And be out there
In the world of strife
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.
