I'll sing you a song
One day when I write it
And maybe I'll write a poem too
I'll get a job, I'll ride a bike
Meet someone and get married
Have the house, kids, dog
One day I'll do this all
But for now I'm going to turn my back
I'll ignore you and never
Adore you
Deal with my own issues
Because I can't deal with yours
You're a black mark
In my already black diary
And so I need to leave you
To never sing you that song
Because right now my voice is hoarse
And my poetry is poor
And I'm melting into the snow
Dying in the sunlight
Suffering
I'll never sing you that song
The lyrics just won't come
So we'll just sit here in silence after all.
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.
