06/02 Meta 2

I'm writing a poem
One day late
And can't think
What to write

05/02 Me

Let me not be
What they make me
Let me be instead
What I want
Let me live the life
That I choose
And hold close
The dreams I have

04/02 Conscious

Figments of imagination swim across visions
They float and flitter like ghosts upon a faint wind
Though they are temperate they are there, as non existent as the grass, as air, as breathing
There is silence, but it is broken by mental screams
No verbal conditions apply for there is nothing but the mind here
Life is not life without the bizarre realities of dreams and dreamscape
As the wingbeats of my dying nightmares come to nothing I look at you
And everything fades to how it was
Retreating back into my - our - subconscious

03/02 Love is not love

Love is not love
It's a mess of emotions
It's not as simple as
l-o-v-e
It's not as simple as
l-u-s-t
It's not just love
It's not just it
It's a many
A conundrum
A continuum
A conference
It's a communication
Between two hearts
It's a
Stop
Never mind let me go what are you no
It's a
Go
Be mine I am yours I want you have this yes
Love is not love
It's not as simple as that
It's not a word
It's not a thing
That can be fathomed
It is
Immortal

02/02 Meta (1)

I'm tired
There's nothing you can
Do
About that
You want a poem
Well
Screw you
Go away

01/02 Hello hello

Hello
I am the one
You've been looking for
Hello
I am the woman
Knocking at your door
Hello
I am the ghost
Hiding under your bed
Hello
I am the killer
About to chop off your head

31/01 Embrace

It's like the sun warming your skin on a summer afternoon

Before I sat in my own parlour and I wonder what it would be like to embrace you
You said that we could become one together, yet you kept yourself 'pure for now' because of a vow
You said that we had to wait, that we had to be sure
Sure of our feelings despite the fact we stood at the altar and signed away our rights to individual life
I wondered what it was like, after all the rumours
I had to wait for you for the longest year
Ages seemed to pass and creatures were born, grew and died like the flowers in my vase, the petals falling off one by one
Like the tears falling from my face when I sat there in private
Wondering what it would be like to simply embrace you
But then
Then you were ready
And you held me
And it was heaven
It was like the sun warming your skin on a summer afternoon
