West do you say?
West, chasing the sun
Climbing up the mountains,
Horseless,
West it is we go.
Seeking the being wise,
Clever beyond comprehension.
West, you said, west,
To the temples fair and fine.
Let us go west to her,
In Delphi.
The Queen above all sages,
In an ivory throne she sits,
And waits,
Knowing for all the ages
That we are coming.
Over the mountains, horseless.
Over the seas sailless.
Westward we go,
Great people ho.
Chasing the sun in the sky.
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.
