Sing this last song to me
Oh my sweet love
The tree of trees and mountains beyond
The river that flowed from the highest hill
Of our paradise and the creatures there
The many colourful birds with patterns green and blue
The prancing deer through the forest
The striped yellow cat, all tooth and claw
Sing this last song to me
Oh my darling
Of the time we danced on our paradise shore
In our imagined world
Oh so sweet and so perfect
So ideal for us
Our little slice of abundant heaven
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.
