There will come a time
When you and I will fall
It will come at a time
When we least expect it at all
The stars will drop around us
Like rain from on high
And black clouds will gather
To hide the light of the sky
There will be tears of course
Very many aplenty
They will drop from our faces
Making a lake, or twenty
The lakes will merge together
Making an ocean wide
Many will run as the waves form
But they will have no where to hide
You see this will be the time
When all shall fade to naught
When a those of education
Will forget what they were taught
It will be a time of pure pain
Of children's screaming high
It will be that period of darkness
When everyone will slowly die
The king and queen that we are
The Empire we forged of our own
Will bleed away to ashes
And nothing more shall be sown
It will be the last time my friend
The last final kingdom and day
And we will be toppled
We will fall
They will end the world
Because we brought it to such dismay
A collection of poems and short stories, from a long time ago and from today. Some are light hearted, others are more serious, some are simply extracts from larger pieces of ficiton I am writing.
