The Beast

There's something in the water
Fin above the waves
Cutting through the seafoam
Eating the ones he saves

Hating the neverlanders
Wanting to die soon, soon
There is a beast in the water
His eyes reflect the moon

Silver in tone, my dear
Grey like the haunted fog
He'll scare those who stray far
With barking, like a rabid dog

Savage and roaring, here
He has nothing to fear
For he's the god of this sea
King of all far and near

So you've got to beware
Of the fins in the water
Roar back and snarl if he comes
Prepare to heartlessly slaughter
